Snow Day

So with this wonderful blizzard we decided to go out and play in the snow! It was super funny to see him run around and would sink down in the snow! He didn't seem to mind the cold at all! We had a blast running around in the snow!

OK I know it's been forever!!

I know it's been forever since I've updated the blog but it's going to get better!! Since I've blogged in July quite a bit has happened! Kief was in a cutie contest in Sigourney over the 4th of July and got 2nd place! In September we found out we were pregnant!! Kief gets to be an older brother!! Hopefully she is tough from the get go cause Kief is a typical only child who doesn't know how to share! He is starting to get it more as we buy her clothes and talk about it more. In September also Kief was the ring bearer in our friend Emily and Brian's wedding! So that's why he is all decked out in the tux!! We thought he looked pretty handsome in it!

We took him to the Children's Museum in December and he loved it!! He had a blast playing in the pizza area and grocery store. He had quite the Christmas and as you can see he got quite a bit! His great aunt Mechelle gave him all the cars from her 3 boys! So we are definitely good on cars for quite some time! He is growing up so fast and is so funny! He is such an entertainer and loves to put on a show, it doesn't matter where we are!! He is talking so much and loves to sing "Happy birthday" and pretends to blow out candles! He is counting to 12 on good days and at least 8 in spanish! (Diego & Dora). He knows most of his alphabet and is doing really well on colors! Potty training is a totally different story! He tells me when he goes but after of course! He picks up things quite quickly and I'm sure once he wants to start using the potty it won't be a big issue at all! He's quite a smart little guy who cracks us up all the time!

Kief's birthday/Henry Doorly zoo!

It's been a long time since I posted so there are lots of pics! Kief turned two on June 14 so we decided to take him to the Henry Doorly Zoo! He had a blast and loved seeing all the different animals! Although we met Cory in Des Moines after he got off work the night before got to Omaha around midnight then had to drive around to get Kief to fall asleep! He was too busy running around the room and jumping on the beds! He also had his birthday which was at my parents and he had a blast! He's talking so much more and has become great buddies with Aunt Sandy who spoils him rotten and his cousin Derby although sometimes they pick on each other! We went to Sigourney for the 4th and entered Kief into a cutie contest! He placed 2nd which we were pretty happy with although we thought he should have gotten 1st!!

He got to wheezing so bad we had to take him to the ER and they gave him nebulizers. But now much better and back to his hyper self!
