First Professional Pictures

We went to Sigourney this weekend and Grandpa Mark took his 2 week pictures. He is growing so fast and such a sweet little baby.

At Home

We spent the first week in Albia getting adjusted to all the new wonderful things that go on with a new baby. We are now home and loving it- Kiefer is doing great and growing so fast!! I can't believe he is almost 2 weeks old!! His umbilical cord fell off on Monday so that was exciting and as you can see we did our first bath at home. This weekend we are heading to Sigourney to see the Seeley clan and get his first pictures done!!

Kiefer Robert Seeley

Kiefer was born at 3:38 am on June 14, 2008 after a long day of labor. His birth weight was 6# 2 oz and 19 inches long.. He came in at a great time when all his cousins, aunts and uncles were in town- so they all got to see him. We left the hospital on Sunday and he weighed 5# 15 oz.. We had our first doctor visit on Tuesday and he was a little jaundiced but didn't need anything. His weight was down to 5# 12 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. The pediatrician said he was stronger than average- he doesn't want to miss anything so he will pick up his head and look around.

Otherwise he sleeps a lot during the day and not a lot during the night but doing great!!
